Lone Worker AccreditationsProtection of your employees, assets and those in your care is a serious business. At Skyguard, we strictly adhere to the best practices; stringently follow guidelines set by the industry and continually keep up with legislation.

We are also innovators in our sector and have played an instrumental part in developing industry standards for better lone worker protection. As a committee member of the British Security Industry Association’s (BSIA) Lone Worker Section, Skyguard advises and works with key industry stakeholders; the National Police Chief’s Council (NPCC), the British Standards Institute (BSI), and numerous other regulatory bodies.

NSI's ARC Gold

Our external Auditor’s scheme encompassing the certifications below.

BS 5979:2007: Category II

the British Standard for Alarm Receiving Centres (ARCs); Category II compliance makes possible the highest level of police response.

BS 8484:2016: Clause 7

the British Standard for lone worker device services; Clause 7 relates to the ARC. Skyguard is certified to all five Clauses of the Standard under the NSI Guarding Gold Certificate.

BS 7858:2012

the British Standard for security screening of individuals employed in ARCs; all Skyguard employees are externally screened to the standard, and DBS checked to Enhanced Disclosure Level.

ISO 9001:2015

the international quality standard which relates to Skyguard’s Quality Management System.

Skyguard have been awarded the Cyber Essentials accreditation. The UK government scheme encourages businesses to adhere to best-practices in IT security. It requires a variety of cyber security measures are in place, protecting our service and data from online threats..

ISO 27001:2013

Skyguard have been assessed and approved by QMS International Ltd to the standards of ISO 27001:2013 - demonstrating that Skyguard is following information security best practice. The standard proves that Skyguard has the ability to handle sensitive data securely.

Skyguard's parent company, Send For Help Ltd features in the 2018 London Stock Exchange Group’s “1,000 Companies to Inspire Britain”. The report is recognition of the UK’s fastest-growing and most dynamic SME’s. To be included, companies are required to show consistent revenue growth over a minimum of three years, significantly outperforming their industry peers.

Skyguard's parent company, Send For Help is included in the Financial Times “FT1000” list of Europe’s fastest growing companies. The list comprises of the top 1000 companies in 31 countries across Europe that have achieved the highest percentage growth in revenues in the past three years. Send For Help was ranked 625th on the list — one of just 159 companies from the UK to feature.

IFSEC Awards Winner
