Lone Worker AccreditationsProtection of your employees, assets and those in your care is a serious business. At Skyguard, we strictly adhere to the best practices; stringently follow guidelines set by the industry and continually keep up with legislation.

We are also innovators in our sector and have played an instrumental part in developing industry standards for better lone worker protection. As a committee member of the British Security Industry Association’s (BSIA) Lone Worker Section, Skyguard advises and works with key industry stakeholders; the National Police Chief’s Council (NPCC), the British Standards Institute (BSI), and numerous other regulatory bodies.

BS EN 50518:2019: Category I

The standard for Monitoring and Alarm Receiving Centres that monitor, receive and process alarms.

BS 8484:2016

The British Standard for lone worker device services; Skyguard is certified to all five Clauses of the Standard with SSAIB.

BS 7858:2019

As a requirement of BS EN 50518:2019 and BS 8484:2016, we comply with this British Standard as per our staff screening policy and procedures.

Skyguard's parent company, Send For Help is included in the Financial Times “FT1000” list of Europe’s fastest growing companies.
